DAY 01:  ARRIVE XIAMEN
Upon arrival into xiamen Gaoqi international airport, you will be greeted and transferred to your hotel with the rest of the day free.  Overnight at the hotel.

DAY 02:  XIAMEN - YONGDING
Around 4 hours drive from xiamen, there is something truly worthwhile visiting - the settlements of the hakka people who are a unique ethnic group of "han" Chinese originally active around the yellow river area.  They are thought to be one of the earliest "han" settlers in china and noted for ability to survive on the less desirable lands and in the most adverse environment.  The long boring drive on the winding road suddenly ends when you come to a place named tian luo keng where its unique construction is not only pleasant to the eyes but also tricked the american's spy satellite once.  Overnight at the hotel.

DAY 03:  YONGDING  - XIAMEN
Comparatively, Tian Luo Keng has the oldest and probably the most beautiful settlements while those in Hu Keng are more scattered around and worthy of further exploration.  For instance, its constructions are of various shapes and sizes.  Travel back to xiamen in the afternoon.  Overnight at the hotel.

DAY 04: DEPART XIAMEN
In the morning you will tour the gulangyu island, known as "Garden on the Sea"  because it is covered in green all year round and is elegant, secluded and serene.  A great variety of villas stand shrouded by lush wood and hundreds of floweres grow on the sunlight rock.  After lunch you will be transferred to airport for onward flight. Overnight at the hotel.
