DAY 01: ARRIVE KUNMING
Upon arrival you will be greeted and transferred to your hotel. Rest of the day will be at leisure

DAY 02:  KUNMING                                           
Full day excursion to the Stone Forest that is around 120km southeast of Kunming and a collection and gray limestone pillars split by rain water and eroded to their present fanciful forms

DAY 03: KUNMING - LIJIANG                       
Take an early morning flight to Lijiang. Upon arrival meet and tours to the old city of Lijiang that is reputed to be a "living museum", the Wangu Pagoda on top of which you can get a panoramic view of this fascinating old city, and the Black Dragon Pool Park

DAY 04: LIJIANG                                                               
Today you will have full day excursion including first stop at the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain that soars 5500m above Lijiang and 35km north of the city. Then visit the Wenfeng Monastery and the Shuhe Village, which, though small and primitive, still keeps its original touch. Enjoy the Naxi Classical Music Show in the evening

DAY 05: LIJIANG - SHANGRI-LA                  
A 210km drive of around 5 hours through forest reserves alongside the extreme upper reaches of the Yangtze River brings you to Shangri-La, also known as Zhongdian, a peaceful and quiet land situated at an altitude of 3200m. Visit the Tiger Leaping Gorge and the first bend of the Yangtze River on the way

DAY 06: SHANGRI-LA                                      
Full day tours to the 300-year-old Songzanlin Monastery that is a Tibetan monastery complex with several hundred monks, the Shudu Lake Reserve with its vista of blossoming flowers and lush grassland dotted with sheep and cattle, a local Tibetan family where you can talk with the hostess and a city market

DAY 07: SHANGRI-LA - LHASA                   
After breakfast at hotel, you will be transferred to the airport for morning flight to Lhasa, the capital city of Tibet Autonomous Region. Upon arrival you will be met and transferred back to the city that normally takes around 2 hours by car. Your tours in this "Sacred Place of Buddha" in the afternoon start with the golden-roofed Jokhang Monastery - one of Tibet's holiest shrines. Followed by stroll around the Barkhor Street.

DAY 08:  LHASA                                                 
Full Day City tours including visit to the Potala Palace, once the center of the Tibetan government and winter residence of the Dalai Lama as well as the most imposing attraction of Lhasa. Followed by the Norpulingkha that used to be the summer Palace of the Dalai Lama

DAY 09:  LHASA - SHIGATSE                                        
Most of today's time will be spent on the bumpy road but the view of the Yamdrok-Tso Lake will be rewarding

DAY 10: SHIGATSE - LHASA                                        
Visit the Tashilunpo Monastery - the official seat of Panchen Lama, second in importance to only the Dalai Lama. In the afternoon drive back to Lhasa

DAY 11:  DEPART LHASA - ONWARD FLIGHT BACK HOME                                               
You will be transferred to the airport for your onward flight.
